Admission to the Register is a commitment, renewed annually, to practise within this Code. A credential is a relationship, not a certificate.
First principles
A practitioner holds the dignity and autonomy of every client as the first consideration of the work. The neurodivergent client is the authority on their own experience; the practitioner's role is to assist, not to correct.
Confidentiality
A practitioner keeps the content of coaching confidential, save where disclosure is required to prevent serious harm or by law. Clients are told the limits of confidentiality before work begins.
Competence and supervision
A practitioner works only within their assessed competence, maintains the required hours of continuing professional development each year, and engages in regular supervision. Standing on the Register is conditional on both.
Accountability
A practitioner who falls short of this Code may have their standing reviewed, suspended, or revoked by the Council. The public Register reflects current standing at all times.
